is for collectors who love the chase--looking and finding authentic antiques, desired objects, or interesting finds in travels. Once expressed the energies of other bloggers help to suggest likely places to find items. Announcements about upcoming, sales and exhibitions --good markets, great museums interesting finds or things desired but not located yet...You can pose question about one you found you are still exploring. Any questions about provenances or documentation of the life of a piece of art or antique are welcome. Post pictures of markets they found in their travels and pose questions relating to searching for antiques and art --and not quite antiques, such as Art Deco pieces. This blog is a closed group blog only for members of the DutchnDuchess Invitation List.

He combines his understanding of trade in a modern world, with the historic and aesthetic, to enlighten readers how certain styles evolved or were influenced by social or other trends of the day. Closer to the time he'll post the first news of the DnD bus trip and course to Paris. A strong believer that educated customers are his best customers, he invites all levels of collectors to special theme evenings on the premises of DutchnDuchess Gallery and Showroom, where discussions will ensue antiques related topics: clocks, porcelain, furniture styles, glass and crystal, types of woods, construction methods, genuine vs fake, pure vs transitional styles, real patinas vs new woods or marriages.
