I like to  apply  realism to  'portraits'.  What constitutes a  portrait might be a  person, a pet, a simple fruit, an  architectural landmark, a beautiful place or vista -- even an  object with an  unusual quality such as the patina of delicate Roman glass, having survived wars and earthquakes (since BC!).

My subject has on a certain day,  in a particular light,  made a connection so powerful and so exciting it  compels me to study it and to revisit the joy and privilege to be an artist,  each time I am reminded of its creation.

Perhaps you will be inspired to add a new addition to your collection!

Thank you for the wonderful job you did on Carol's painting. Tears rolled down her cheeks as she gazed upon...the memories she will have for lifetime...---- M. Bednarik,
